MEET THE DESIGNER

Hello! I’m Fiona from Fiona Ingram Jewellery. I have been running my jewellery business since 2015 and I create art jewellery from silver, bronze and gold.

 

I am passionate about the design process and love to work in the places where traditional jewellery meets mixed media. I often use colour in my work and am developing my use of enamels and hand painted elements in my work. I use a combination of silver clay and traditional silversmithing techniques in my work.

 

The creative possibilities of jewellery design are so exciting to me. I love to create my own texture plates to create truly unique designs.

Tailoring Workshop

THE INSPIRATION

My jewellery collections are heavily inspired by nature and draw on the textures of such things as leaves, seed heads and shells.

 

I am also fascinated by ancient jewellery, but can get my design inspiration from anywhere - from historical periods to textiles and wildlife to the moon and stars.

 

I also love to create one-of-a-kind pieces and I believe it’s important to allow time for ‘play’ in design to get the best out of my process.
